Sam is a gentle and trustworthy Spiritual Director who values creating a safe space for people who desire to grow spiritually. His spiritual direction style is marked by his ecumenical, inquisitive and nonjudgemental nature. Spiritual directees that have worked with Sam say that they feel heard and accepted.
With a wide range of experiences and training, Sam is also very knowledgeable. Besides his training in Spiritual Direction, Sam has also completed the Living School for Action and Contemplation program in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Sam’s interests and hobbies include the Enneagram, medieval English history, running, and playing the guitar. He enjoys BBQ, Thai, and Tex-Mex. On a day off of work you might find Sam reading, taking a trip into the city, visiting a new restaurant, or seeing a play.
Sam’s favorite passage of Scripture is Ephesians 5:13: "Everything that touches the light...becomes light." He enjoys connecting with God personally through contemplative prayer.
