Sue is a fully present, accepting, and gentle personality who bring warmth and kindness to her Spiritual Direction style. Her directees describe feeling seen, known, and valued in her care. Alongside Spiritual Direction, Sue is also certified in lay counseling disciplines through The American Association of Christian Counselors. She is a Recommended Facilitator with oneLifemaps, whose Listen to My Life Maps were created into a portfolio of unique visual maps that help people document their life stories for the purpose of spiritual growth and meaningful action. Sue has a wide variety of experience with diverse scenarios and is open to walking with teens, LGBTQ and Gender Issues, Muslim Clients, and a variety of ages.
Sue and her husband Jac were married in 1975. They have four adult children and six precious grandchildren. During their first 17 years of marriage, her husband’s military career moved them many times. Sue has lived in Texas, Indiana, Pennsylvania, The Netherlands and Germany. She enjoys hanging out with her grandchildren, taking long walks, playing the piano, reading and photography.
Sue provides supervision for other Spiritual Directors, and has experience offering Phone and Skype Spiritual Direction for long distance directees.
